Gold Teeth

In August 2020, I went on a solo cross-country motorcycle trip across the United States and back, totaling 8,571 miles. The biggest impact the trip had on me was a visceral understanding of not only how vast the country is, but also how diverse the viewpoints of its citizens are, and how closely those viewpoints are tied to the energy of the geography surrounding them. The name “Gold Teeth” refers to an experience I had when I was married in my early 20’s, which I’ve written about and will publish here when I’m finished with that work. This photo set isn’t the complete archive of photos from that trip. It’s my goal to edit a more comprehensive story on getgoldteeth.com.
